- Vitamin D-rich foods
As per the Vitamin D council, a Vitamin D-rich diet for children aged between 6 and 15 years of age can reduce asthma attacks in them. The following foods are loaded with essential vitamins:
- Fortified milk
- Milk
- Fortified orange juice
In case you are allergic to dairy, you can try other sources of vitamin D as being allergic can trigger asthma symptoms.
- Vitamin A-rich foods
In a 2018 study, it was found that children suffering from asthma had lower levels of vitamin A in their bodies. Among children, it is also seen that having vitamin A in high quantity in the body meant better functioning of the lungs. - Foods that make you gassy
